Estate Planning
The philosophy and mission of David S. Greber, P.C., whether in its estate planning practice or in any other area of law, is to fulfill the objectives of its clients. In estate planning, this requires that we spend time listening to the hopes, dreams and fears of our clients before attempting to recommend an estate planning design; otherwise, although a design that we may suggest would save taxes, it probably would not promote the higher, highly personal objectives of our clients.
In our view, the basic objective of estate planning is to:
- Remain independent and self-sufficient while you are alive and well;
- Implement planning that will assist you in the event of your mental incapacity;
- Upon your death, give what you have, to whom you want, the way you want, and when you want, while saving all possible attorneys' fees, court costs, and taxes.
The design of an estate plan is as varied as the personalities and the financial circumstances of our clients. David S. Greber, P.C. has designed and implemented estate plans using such estate planning documents as simple wills, complex wills, living trusts, living wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives, among others. Our firm is proud of the skill with which it customizes these design elements, and integrates them into a design that meets each client's objectives.
